Murphy, Valentine, Mikey, Mr. P, Aurora, Moonbeam and Sunbeam Kahuna need your votes for the best Murphdog®. We know that right now Murphy is the Murphdog® leader. But, all that could change.
Yeah, yeah we got it. We know that Moonbeam and Sunbeam Kahuna are not Murphdogs® at all. But, the Murphdogs® are such great friends that they allowed the Kahunas to join in the election.
That means that it’s up to you. Just go to the email of your favorite Murphdog® (or Kahuna) and vote – and most of all, tell us why you voted the way you did.

If you want the best then you have to vote for the very best – that’s me, of course. Because, I’m already the leader of the Murphdogs® –like I said that’s why the others are named after me – Murphdogs® –get it?
Now, here’s something I bet you didn’t know, unless you already read So, Where’s Murphy? Aurora, the angel, only talks to me – not the others. Also, I’m the one who has a little bit of charm, a little bit of humor, a little bit of adventure and a lot of sense and I’m sassy too. The others think that I’m a little too thrilled with myself. You think? Naw, just tellin’ it like it is!
Also, I’m brave, never walk away from responsibility, has determination to finish a job and do it well, loves kids and loves to do all the stuff that BFF’s do together.
So, a vote for me is a vote for the very best Murphdog® of a lifetime!

Candidate #2 -- Valentine
Hey, I’m not as strong as Murphy. I don’t mean that she lifts weights or anything like that. I mean that she has so much courage and confidence—and that’s a very good thing to have. Sounds like I’m voting for Murphy myself—and I would too, if I weren’t running against her.
But, I’d love it if you voted for me. I’ll tell you why. Everyday would be Valentine’s Day if it were up to me. Everyone would have oodles and oodles of love and candy hearts and chocolate to share. Each day, we’d think of wonderful things to do and ways to be happy. My campaign is all about love. If you feel the same way I do, then just vote for me – your favorite Valentine.

Candidate #3 -- Mikey
Excuse me while I barf. No offense Val—just joking, of course. It’s not that I don’t love Valentine and her own special holiday, really I do, but too much is too much. C’mon Val—give it a rest, will ya?
Now, you guys want a strong leader for the Murphdogs® and that’s why I’m called Main Man Mikey the brave. I can protect these Murphdogs®. Don’t think we don’t have enemies out there, cause we do. Who do you think watches out for them? Yeah, it’s me, that’s right.
Now, I have some ideas about keeping our turf safe—not just at Murphdom, but anywhere the Murphdogs® go. I have to give them some lessons about looking out for themselves, keeping their eyes and ears open, staying away from strangers and danger. And most of all, learning to trust their instincts and remember all the good stuff their folks taught them.
A vote for me is a vote in the right direction.

Now, I know the others are going to say that I’m not the best candidate for office. That’s because they don’t have a sense of humor. And having a sense of humor is what gets me through some of the rough times.
Also, I like to start adventures. Why, some of the best Murphdog® adventures were a result of me getting myself into trouble. (Maybe that didn’t come out right) Anyway, I’ve met so many interesting folks during my adventures—I could introduce you sometime.
If you want to have a blast, just vote for me. The others will surely bark, but so what? I say: “Let barking dogs sleep.” Or is that, “Let sleeping dogs lie?” No matter. Just vote for me (I need all the help I can get).

Now, I know you kids out there want me to win because I’m the one with all the magic. You know all that “presto/ barko” stuff. But really, it’s exhausting and I don’t have the best sense of direction –or the best sense of time.

Are those Murphdogs® special or what? They’re allowing the Kahunas to run for best Murphdog® even if we’re not Murphdogs®—how about that?

Let’s give it up for my brother Moonbeam Kahuna – even if he shouldn’t win this election, I love him all the same.
Reasons why Kahuna shouldn’t win:
- He needs me to tell him what to do all the time.
- So, if you just vote for me, I’ll tell myself what to do and then I’ll do it.

- I was on a mission to rescue . . . never mind. (Just read the book to find out what my part was all about).
Anyway, I must tell you that the Murphdogs® are the very best, loyal, loving, caring friends anyone could ever have. I’m so lucky to have them in my life. So, if you vote for any of them, I won’t feel bad or sad. I’ll be happy. Because, they are loving enough to share this campaign with us, The Kahunas, even though we’re not Murphdogs® at all. Is there anyone more generous than that?
