SERESTO FLEA AND TICK COLLARS

Top-selling flea and tick collars have been linked to the deaths of nearly 1,700 pets and hundreds of injuries to humans.

Members of Congress are demanding one of the largest recalls in the US on a single product.

Allegedly, The Seresto flea and tick collar has been linked to approximately 1700 pet deaths and 900 human harm reports that were included in the 75,000 incidents reported since 2012, but no warning has been issued yet by the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Elanco, the manufacturer of the Seresto flea collar is standing behind the product’s safety, even after the House Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy requested the company to recall the collars and issue full customer refunds.

The Seresto dog collar has two main ingredients.

10% (100 mg/g) Imidaclopred and 4% (45 mg/g) Flumethrin
